NOTE: You can view your delivery zones in your Lovingly Account, but only the Support Team can make any changes to them. No delivery zone settings can be edited by partners directly.
Your delivery zones help define where you deliver and how much customers are charged for delivery. Lovingly offers two zone methods: Distance-based zones and ZIP/postal-code zones. This guide explains how each works, how charges are applied, and how to request updates.
How to View Your Delivery Zones
Log in to your Lovingly Account.
Click your Profile Icon in the bottom left corner.
Go to Settings & Preferences.
Select Delivery Options.
How Delivery Zones Work
You can have up to five delivery zones, plus a service fee for anything outside your service area. Each zone can have its own delivery charge, depending on how you prefer to structure your pricing.
There are two ways to define your zones:
1. Distance-Based Zones
Distance zones are calculated by miles/kilometers from your shop.
Each zone covers a distance range (for example, 0–6 miles, 6–14 miles, etc.).
Every zone can have its own delivery charge.
Anything outside your maximum distance receives a relay/service fee.
2. ZIP/Postal-Code Zones
ZIP/postal-code zones give you more control over exactly where you deliver.
You assign each ZIP/postal code to one of your five zones.
Zone 1 is automatically set as Free, though you do not need to place any ZIP codes in this zone unless you want to.
Zones 2–5 can each have a delivery charge.
Any ZIP/postal code not listed will receive your relay/service fee.
Relay/Service Fees
A relay or service fee applies when:
A customer enters an address outside your maximum delivery distance, or
The ZIP/postal code is not included in any zone.
Most florists set this fee at $100 or more to discourage customers from placing orders outside their true delivery area, since we cannot block out-of-area orders entirely. Higher fees act as a deterrent.
Requesting Changes to Your Delivery Zones
Zone updates must be completed by the Lovingly Support Team.
To make changes:
Chat in through your Lovingly Account.
Tell us whether you want Distance-based zones or ZIP/postal-code zones.
Provide:
Your preferred zone structure
Delivery charges for each zone
For ZIP/postal-code zones: a complete list of all ZIP/postal codes you deliver to and which zone each should belong to.
We will confirm the structure, make the updates, and ensure your delivery settings are accurate.
Why Offering Free Delivery Helps Increase Sales
Free delivery is one of the strongest motivators for online shoppers. Research shows:
73% of customers are more likely to complete a purchase if free delivery is available.
61% may abandon their cart if free delivery is not offered.
Free delivery is now standard across many online industries, shaping customer expectations.
Because your website acts as an “online employee,” reducing phone and walk-in overhead, many florists build delivery costs into product pricing and keep Zone 1 free to stay competitive.
Appearing with “Free Delivery” in your shop description and meta tags also helps attract new shoppers and improves click-through rates.
