Custom products allow you to highlight your shop’s unique design style and offer arrangements that are not part of your standard Lovingly Selection Guide. Follow the steps below to create a custom product that displays beautifully on your Lovingly Shop.
Before You Begin
Make sure you have the following ready:
Product name options
Images for Standard, Deluxe, and Premium (if applicable)
Pricing for each size
Dimensions of the arrangement
A short description or keywords
Recipe information (optional but recommended)

Step 1. Open the Products Section
In your Lovingly Account, click the flower icon to open your Products list.
Select Add New Product.
Step 2. Set Your Product Availability
You will see several toggles. Use them to define how and where the product appears.
Gift Addon: Turn this on if the product should appear as an add-on at checkout. (Typical items include balloons, chocolates, stuffed animals, or other small gifts.)
Funeral Only: Turn this on if the arrangement is exclusively for funeral orders.
(This prevents birthday or celebration add-ons from showing with this product.)
POS Only: Turn this on for items that should be available only in your Lovingly POS. (Products with this setting will not appear on your Lovingly Shop, but they will still be selectable when entering in-store or phone orders.)
Step 3. Add Product Details
Product SKU: Choose a short and consistent format, such as your shop initials followed by a number.
Product Name: Use a short and descriptive name. The name must be unique within your product library.
Standard, Deluxe, and Premium
For each available size, add:
Price
Image
Width and height (recommended for accuracy but not mandatory)
Step 4. Add Product Categories
Your custom product will automatically appear under Our Custom Designs. You can add it to additional categories so shoppers can find it easily.
Click to open the category list.
Select the categories where you want the product displayed.
To remove a category, click the small X next to its name.
We recommend assigning approximately five categories per product
Step 5. Add a Description
The product description helps customers understand what makes the arrangement special.
You can write your own or use Lovingly Scribe to:
Create a polished description
Include helpful keywords
Highlight flower types, color themes, and suitable occasions
Pro Tip: Descriptions that include color themes, focal flowers, or style (such as modern or classic) help your customers make informed choices.
Step 6. Add Optional Care Instructions
Care instructions are printed on the recipient section of the Superticket and help the recipient keep the arrangement fresh and looking great. This step is optional but adds a polished touch.
Step 7. Add a Standard Recipe
Adding a recipe helps your design team maintain consistency.
For each ingredient, add:
Quantity
Flower or item type
Size (if applicable)
Color
The item field uses predictive typing, so you can start typing the flower name and select it from the list. You can add vases, materials, colors, and shape details as needed. Recipes are visible only to your designers and not to customers.
Step 8. Review and Save
Before saving:
Double-check spelling and grammar
Confirm prices
Confirm images
Confirm category selections
Review description and care instructions
Once you are ready, check the box confirming you own or have permission to use your images, then click Save.
Your custom product is now live on your Lovingly Shop.
