Lovingly Print allows your Lovingly orders, receipts, and SuperTickets to print automatically.
If you’re setting up a new computer, reconnecting a printer, or fixing printing issues, this guide covers everything you need in one place.
1. Install Lovingly Print (Windows & Mac)
Lovingly Print must be installed on each computer that needs automatic printing.
Download Lovingly Print
Go to Settings & Preferences in your Lovingly Account.
Select Printing.
Click Download to begin the installation.
Install Lovingly Print

1. Open your Downloads folder. | 1. Open your Downloads folder. |
2. Double-click LovinglyPrint.exe. | 2. Double-click LovinglyPrint.dmg. |
3. Click Next through the installer steps. | 3. Drag Lovingly Print into the Applications folder. |
4. Sign in using your Lovingly username and password. | 4. Open Applications, find Lovingly Print, and Control-click → Open to bypass macOS security. |

Windows Icon Status:
Mac Icon: Appears in the top Menu bar when connected.
2. Restart Lovingly Print (Fast Fix)
**Restarting solves the majority of printing issues.**
Restart Steps (Windows vs. Mac)

1. Find the Lovingly Print icon in the Taskbar. | 1. Click the Lovingly Print icon in the Menu bar. |
2. Right-click → Quit. | 2. Select Quit. |
3. Open Start Menu, search Lovingly Print, reopen. | 3. Reopen Lovingly Print from Applications. |
When reopened, the icon should turn green.
3. Make Sure the Correct Printer Is Selected
**Incorrect printer assignment is one of the most common printing issues.**
Go to Settings & Preferences → Printing.
Expand New Order Notification and Superticket
Choose your correct printer for both
Use Test Print to confirm.
Note: Both Order Notification and SuperTicket must use the same selected printer to avoid printing issues, even though only one can be set to auto-print.
Thermal Printer Reminder
If using a thermal receipt printer, check the Thermal box under Workstation Receipt Printing Options.
4. Quick Troubleshooting Checklist
If orders aren’t printing:
Ensure the printer is powered on and online.
Confirm the computer is on the correct Wi-Fi or network.
Check for paper jams or paused print queues.
Make sure your Order Notification Type matches the printer you’re using.
Restart Lovingly Print (Step 2).
Restart your computer if issues continue.
If the Lovingly Print icon shows a red dot, reinstall Lovingly Print.
5. Reinstall Lovingly Print (Most Common Fix)

Reinstalling resets your connection and resolves most persistent issues.
6. Advanced Troubleshooting
If printing still isn’t working:
Confirm the right printer is selected in Printing Options.
Archive old/unused printers to avoid conflicts.
Add Lovingly Print to Startup Apps (Windows) or Login Items (Mac).
Make sure only one printing type is set to auto-print (Order Notifications or SuperTickets).
Check for pending computer updates and restart if needed.
